Owner Sonam Tshering first set out to honor his grandmother, Aum Kaachi, by building a school. Then not only came a dream—clear and compelling—that reimagined the tribute as a sanctuary of hospitality but also Believing it to be his grandmother’s message, Sonam planted the seed of his grandmother’s warm hospitality in 2017 and, by mid-2018, set the vision in motion. Taking their project management personally, after that the owner embarked on a 5-year journey to build a 44-roomed Bhutanese Architect design that respectfully blended into its environment.
